iPhone and iPad app
The calculator your fingers already know, always in your pocket.
Familiar Calc works like the desk calculator you already use, for everyday work and for accounting and bookkeeping study: the same key layout and the same calculation behavior, including constants, %, GT, tax keys, and the rounding and decimal switches.
Features
Same key layout
Keys are placed to match the manufacturer’s manual and product photos, down to 0, 00, ▶, and GT.
Same calculation behavior
Constant calculation (K after a double operator on Casio, automatic after = on Sharp), the meaning of %, and what C, CE, and AC clear all follow each manufacturer.
Slide switches
Rounding (F, CUT, UP, 5/4) and decimal places (5–0, ADD2) in the same place as on the calculator. Touch a switch to enlarge it.
LCD-style display
A 12-digit seven-segment display with digit separators and M, GT, and K indicators.
Sound and haptics
A click and a tap with each key, with a stronger tap on 5 so you can feel where your finger is. Sound can be turned off in the Full Version.
Actual size on iPad
On iPad, keys are spaced like the real calculator. On iPad mini in portrait, the JS-20WK is shown at nearly actual size.
